   Proposal Description:
   It is well known that there is a large population of Spanish speaking elderly persons in Alzheimer???s Disease research studies. There are notable differences between the English and Spanish speaking populations in their neuropsychological performance. The purpose of this study is first, to create a normative data from the neuropsychological test battery of The Alzheimer???s Disease Centers??? Uniform Data Set (UDS) for the Spanish speaking elders, and second, to gain a deeper understanding of the differences in neuropsychological performance between English and Spanish speaking  elders with normal cognition and dementia.
